Alternate Nostril Breath

One of the most important thing to learn is the correct breath ratio –

inhale/retention/exhale 1/4/2.

You don’t have to do the retention,

and it’s advisable that you don’t when you first start out.

Beginners you should a count of 3 sec on the inhale, 6 sec on the exhale

increase by one count once it becomes easy to do.

Why it works to help you LIVE!

Slowing your breathing rate and increasing the blood oxygen signals the brain to release GABA!

GABA, in turn, inhibits the release of cortisol and adrenaline,

this allows your body-mind to finally slow down,

rest,

digest

and repair itself.
