I have heard all the excuses, I don’t need to drink water I get my water from tea, coffee, soda, any and every other beavarge than water. How is that working for you?
Skin looks healthy?
Digestive system works properly?
Are you tired or full of energy?
How is your sleep?
Do you lose focus during the day?
Are you the happiest healthiest person you could be?
Give water a chance. Just drink it. At least 64oz of good water.
You see our brains do what we tell it to do. And we tell our brains we don’t like water, Why?
Let’s look at our body and just how important water is for it to work properly.
The brain and heart are composed of around 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, while the muscles and kidneys are 79% water, and even the bones are watery: 31%.
In adult men, about 60% of their bodies are water. However, fat tissue does not have as much water as lean tissue. In adult women, fat makes up more of the body than men, so they have about 55% of their bodies made of water.
Body water is the primary building block for cells. It helps to regulate the internal body temperature, strengthens your muscles and moisturizes your skin. Good Stuff, right!
So lets change the dialoge you have with yourself. Tell yourself You love water.
Say outloud to yourself 4x a day “I LOVE WATER”!!
Here is my 100oz water schedule:
Wake up drink I drink 4-6 oz room temperature water that is next to my bed from the night before. I use my Shakeology Blender cup because it has a lid and it fits in my hand easily and it is light and it is around 24 oz.
I fill it up first thing in the morning and I Drink the first one by 9am.
Fill up again drink all by 12pm.
Fill next 24 oz up with water and a little Himalayan salt to add in some minerals/ electrolytes drink all by 3pm.
The last fill is to be finished by 6 no later than 8pm unless you want to have to get up to go to bathroom.
I fill my container up halfway and take sips when ever I need to the rest of the night and drink rest in morning.
A good rule of thumb is 1 gallon water 1/4 teaspoon himalayan salt. This helps to keep electrolytes up.
Look your body needs a lot of water to function properly so-JUST DRINK IT!
