Christian’s To Be Hypnotized or Not Be Hypnotized That is the Question

Lets look at a few “Definitions” of Hypnosis.

Hypnosis is a state of human consciousness involving focused attention and reduced peripheral awareness and an enhanced capacity for response to suggestion.

A state which resembles sleep but is produced by a person who can then make suggestions to which the person in this state can respond.”

Think about hypnosis as simply a deeply-focused meditation where good things can and will take place. Look in the Bible, it is filled with injunctions for Christians to meditate upon the word of God. So what does injunction mean? Injunction the failure to perform such acts, would cause one of the parties irreparable harm. Meditate on the word of God and watch your life change in miraculous ways.

In the bible Peter entered into meditative states twice recorded and the Bible approved his “trances” both times. Isaiah, Daniel, Paul and Jeremiah all experienced times of hypnotic trance and heightened awareness inspired by God to give them deep insights into their person and character. The person God created them to be.

So if you are a Christian and believe that hypnosis is evil and not biblical please do your research.
