I — Identify What You Feel

Name the emotion present in this moment. Anger, fear, sadness, overwhelm, confusion. Naming emotion lowers nervous system stress.

S — Slow the Mind

Take three slow breaths. Let the body settle before you continue thinking about the situation.

C — Clarify What Matters

Ask yourself: What truly matters in this moment?

O — Observe Your Thoughts

Notice the story your mind is telling about this situation. Ask if this story helps you or harms you.

V — Visualize the Outcome You Want

Picture the direction you want this situation to move toward. Calm conversation. Clear decision. Healthy boundary.

E — Empower Your Next Step

Choose one small action that moves the situation toward the outcome you want.

R — Reflect
